Just as its alpine setting is a delicate balance of the elements, so the Giardino Mountain balances modernity and heritage. The hotel stands in the building of the former Chesa Guardalej hotel. It has undergone an extensive transformation, preserving the local Engadine architecture and fusing it with clean interior design. From the outside, the hotel has a typical Engadine appearance: thick parchment-colored walls keep out the cold mountain air, while the small recessed windows let in acres of natural light.
