Besides the hotel, the island of Tjuvholmen is home to many stunning examples of contemporary architecture including Renzo Piano's Astrup Fearnley Museum of Art, thanks to the efforts of world-famous architect Niels Torp. Located at the edge of the peninsula, the sustainable construction is almost entirely surrounded by water, with all 118 of its rooms featuring French balconies. The Oslo Suite, in particular, offers a 360-degree panoramic view from its own rooftop terrace.
